Hello everyone - thanks for taking some time to visit our website for The Lofthouse.

This is my first message on here for quite some time as Colin and I have been in Rarotonga twice - once for a long-planned holiday and then again for three weeks work as relief managers at a small resort over there. We have had a super time, but it is always fantastic to get home to our own family, not to mention our own bed!

Life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately with lots of Two Tarts classes, Raro trips, Gracie home for uni holidays, Lofthouse visitors etc etc. I now have two weeks to myself and hope to catch up on some gardening and chores.

After getting used to the Raro temperatures being in the high 20's, coming home to near freezing has been a challenge and having to wear lots of clothes a bit of a bore. Never mind ... soon be Spring!

On our flight home I watched Mao's Last Dancer - what a great movie! I embarassed myself by crying during two or three parts of it though. Before we left, we went to see Boy at the movies, which we thought was excellent too.

I will finish this off now as it is Sunday night and the couch with my family beckons!
