Well, we are all enjoying the longer days
since daylight saving came in last week,
but the poor old bodyclock takes a wee
while to adjust - I find myself burning
the midnight oil and then not wanting
to get up in the dark!
I have been making the most of the break
between The Two Tarts Spring and Summer
series. Colin and I have planted our the
vege garden and I am about 10% pf the
way through weeding, combing and papering
our thousands of native grasses .... I'm
sure someone told us they were supposed
to be low maintenance - my back doesn't
think so!
Our diary is now filling up with bookings
for competitors and support crew for the
Summer rowing events down on Lake Karapiro.
So if you are hoping to slip away from
your busy lives for a weekend in the country,
please act now so that you are not disappointed.
The countryside is looking so gorgeous
at the moment with lush Spring growth
brought on by warm temperatures and a
wee bit of rain. Lambs and calves are
everywhere and the trees covered in blossom
and new growth.
