Greetings
everyone. Thanks for visiting our website.
I hope you have enjoyed having a browse
around here and that you will come and
see us sometime soon.
February will be a busy month for us here.
Our youngest daughter Gracie is heading
down to Lincoln University to start a
four year degree and we are flying down
with her to see her settled. This is a
big move for her but she is really looking
forward to this new stage in her life
and is thrilled that she has been awarded
not one but two scholarships to ease the
financial outlay for her education! We
will be catching up with Hamish while
we are in the south island, so it will
be fab to have yet another wee Woolsey
whanau reunion.
On our return, I will be getting ready
for the first series of Two Tarts classes
for the year. Our bookings are looking
very healthy with a lovely mix of new
participants and also the return of many
of our regulars. Fiona is in the process
of finalising a delicious new menu for
everyone to try.
We have had a couple of amazing electrical
storms over the past week with thunder
and sheet lightening coming at us from
all directions. Fabulous to lie in bed
with lights off and the curtains open
and watch nature put on its spectacular
show.
The Lofthouse has been very busy over
the summer months with many visitors for
rowing on Lake Karapiro, Parachute Music
Festival, Waka Ama, local weddings and
couples just escaping for a bit of quality
time in our stunning surroundings. Everyone
loves staying here at The Lofthouse, so
if you are thinking of visiting the Cambridge
area please don't hesitate to get in touch
with any questions you might have - and
check out our unabridged guest comments
here on the website!
Until next time .......
